Yesterday in what was clearly a moment of weakness, I registered a Google Play console account to eventually publish an app there.

I said I wouldn't have done it but as my app is intended to bring pre-nostr people to Nostr, it made some sense.

Then, after paying 25 USD I might add, they ask me to accept this.

I don't remember if that's before or after the part where they require you to dox yourself (address, telephone number, ...) to publish.

After.

They did verify my identity. Reclaimed 25 usd before telling me I am subject to US regulations wherever i am for "something something encryption". It impossibile to predict what encryption will be bad for them tomorrow so I pass.

No regrets.
