Manners is just social compliance and that can be twisted into monstrous constructs like the pomp and circumstance of environmentalism bill signings in the oval office, official signed orders for gas chamber construction and use, ceremonial human sacrifice on top of ancient pyramids or group peer pressure to drink the koolaid... I've attended seminars and rallies too... One can see the mass mind and the popular mind manifesting almost anywhere there's a lot of people and only a few participants. Manners are nice on an individual level, but writ large... I dunno... Manners can quickly become suppression because that's all it really is... Suppression of particular temporal behaviour. Just sayin'...
