My approach is to be friendly and welcome anyone, but I don't zap them unless I can trust who they are and/or they post something I enjoy enough to zap. I also don't repost new accounts unless I know they're trustworthy, because reposting them feels like me vouching for them.
Nostr hospitality’s need to be standardized through community decisions like these :-)
