Okay - on Nostter, to get a decent Home TL, you'll have to follow more people via
1. Trends Timeline (see if someone posts something that interests you)
2. Search 🔍
Once you find a sufficient number of follows, you'll organically find more people through their reposts and replies.
There's no algorithmic feed (trends are there but they're very basic) on most Nostr clients, so who you follow decide what you see.
This is awesome. does people use this thing mostly for politics and cripto or its common to find someone...for example... teaching?
Politics - sometimes, definitely not as much as on Twitter.
Crypto - mostly Bitcoin, but you'll see a lot as many of the Devs as well as early adopters are from Bitcoin community
Teaching -- I've not come across. But #homeschooling is a commonly used hashtag
