Both for me. I like seeing threads and reply context and enjoy the new note/npub discovery from it without having to venture into the cesspool of global.
I also use the conversations as a global proxy.
How could you also discover replies of people I follow on #amethyst?
Perhaps browsing the single person's feed. This actually is the topic, how to surface interesting content without getting lost in the chaos.
I'm reasoning on this idea:
Mostly main notes. Less distracting.
