Desktop app (I know I should not even have it installed) but it was probably mad at me flipping my VPN around a few times. But I've been hit with it on mobile as well. Seems to happen when I text too fast or change my VPN around. It's just another reminder that signal is a centralized service and should not be relied on, even if its EE2E is decent.
The verification is just a captcha but still. Fuck all the way off with that.
