The Heretic's Fork was a medieval torture device used during the Inquisition to punish accused heretics.

This simple yet brutal tool consisted of a metal fork with two sharp prongs at each end, connected by a leather strap or collar.

One end of the fork pressed under the chin, while the other pierced the chest, forcing the victim to hold their head upright.

If they moved or nodded off, the prongs would stab into their flesh. This device was designed to inflict prolonged discomfort, rather than immediate death, instilling fear and control over the accused.

What's with the detailed explanation. There is a picture. Should be enough. And what was the point?

Just showing how innocent people were tortured for no reason at all?

There are detailed explanations with all of my posts. The picture without the explanation doesn't really tell the story behind it. The people subjected to this heinous torture definitely got the point. There is always a reason behind torture, although I do not condone it in anyway under any circumstances. There are many other more pleasant post that I have made here. I hope you could check them out too. Thanks so much for taking the time to message. I appreciate it.
