I googled and found reports of "none to 1000 meteors per hour" but no word on why this is exclusively good news. Doesn't "we don't know what's coming" also hold the potential for "maybe some space junk might wipe out a house or ten"?
bc if it is bad news theres really nothing that can be done about it. so might as well ignore it lol.

Well, it's not like yellow press would usually ignore a chance of hinting at imminent doom. I'm sure some ran with a typical question-headline. "Will meteors destroy my town this Tuesday?!!"
