Sometimes I think we live in a simulation because we cannot control ourselves. Sometimes it feels like we can—we can stay happy for a couple of days, and then, like a lightning bolt from the sky, one day without any clear reason, something changes inside, and we feel empty and unhappy. I don't know who controls our emotions, but it's definitely not entirely in our hands.
