It kinda makes sense to use this visual for empty states, when you know that ostriches only do this in empty locations to lay their eggs and build a new home.

I wonder if people who don’t know the ostrich reference will know what that is? Or are we assuming that people will already understand the nostr / ostrich joke/reference?
I'm not assuming that here. I find that it works anyway.
I used to think ostriches did this to look for food because there was nothing else around.
Most people seem to think that they do this to pretend that "There's nothing there".
Works either way imo.
