Nostr Log Day 39:

Despite all this bloated mempool and fee market rise I'm feeling pretty excited in these times. As a stress test, as an attack test, bitcoin still isn't dead. A little chaotic right now sure. My only concern is it being off putting for new bitcoin users who just want to send "$5" to test a wallet and get burned by thus fee market or have to wait in pending until this quiets down.

The majority of this inscription stuff is arguably a waste of space on the blockchain for monetary transactions, but better to deal with it now. What it is showing me is people are abandoning their shitcoins and trying to run the same rackets here...

Not having fully thought this all through, I do however find it interesting to witness.

Another tumult another thing to not kill this network. Building will continue. Layer 2 will be strengthened and eventually the noise dispensers will run out of money by paying ridiculous fees to move an image.

Like the tides.
