Is there a way to encrypt a message to an npub using AES encryption?

The idea is to send AES ciphertext using a dead man's switch that is deciphered by a noatr client.

I remember seeing AES ciphertext on Astral back in the day, but it's not visible in most clients anymore(which is a good thing). AES is hard for non-nerds to decrypt. I think nostr can make it easier.
