In theory, if the infrastructure was there to help small and median size businesses scale *within their unique capacity*, then a platform that emphasizes localism while also offering the means to scale would be neat.

Small businesses can be clear about how large their region of sale/distribution is and also about their inventory. There can be a discoverability feature for those wanting to find businesses near them and that only ship regionally, as well as those that ship nationally and those that ship internationally.

There can be a healthy mix of large scale businesses next to mom and pops. Can give it the feel of a *digital farmers market* or *local craft show* while also providing a solid experience for those engaging with the bigger businesses.

Can also integrat WoT filters.

I can imagine it integrating a lot of the vest parts of Amazon, Etsy, and Yelp.
