Built a Bitcoin Historical Price Checker, you can input a date and it will give you the price Bitcoin was in that date. You can also choose between USD and EUR for now. https://izap.lol/btc-price

Get some price history and skip the external api, and have a from job that adds yesterday's price. Much simpler. Been there, done that.
