Got my daughter’s 6th birthday party planned out with the family today…

Gonna invite my daughter’s mom & her so & his son too…

I’ve tried to get her to do a single bday celebration before and she’s never said yes before lol so the least I can do is keep trying…

It’s hard for everyone when they are young. Kids don’t understand divorce. Providing stability and at least the pretense of “we’re still friends” helps.

When they get older it’s more like “YAY! Two Christmases!”
