The difference is that everyone expected those sites to be cuckservative hugboxes, and had those beliefs promptly confirmed; Gab lied about being fully free speech and independent, on top of lying about where user funds would be allocated.

Now it's a cuckservative hugbox that they don't want to use due to Turdo and other prominent Gabbers (who stayed on) naming the Jew, and socially tainted due to Turdo funneling $50K of user's money to show off at the last meaningful AFPAC. People have plenty reason to hate Gab, and the people behind it; hopefully Fosco's jumped ship by now.
