If people defend USAID, take a look at who they work for. I have been putting up with an old classmate who had been parroting the NY Times for a week on the USAID issue. Turns out she works for a company that depends on the US bureaucracy overseas. She has become a tool of the Deep State without realizing it. But now her livelihood depends on continuing the graft.
