If people defend USAID, take a look at who they work for. I have been putting up with an old classmate who had been parroting the NY Times for a week on the USAID issue. Turns out she works for a company that depends on the US bureaucracy overseas. She has become a tool of the Deep State without realizing it. But now her livelihood depends on continuing the graft.

USAID undermined everything my sons work for, everything I work for and everything my father, his father, and his father worked for. I have an economic interest in seeing USAID dismantled.
All the more reason for people to become financially self-sovereign
