I have learned the differences between on chain and custodial, about a third don't support Nostr zaps still. A lot of cool ones out there.

Have to be careful on fees and use cases. I started using Phoenix without really understanding it and then had to go get explanation from friend. Minefields of research and trial error

Hard to say, probably my favorite custodial one is Wallet of Satishi although unfortunately it isn't available in my region unless I use a VPN. And Phoenix is my favorite non custodial one.
