The porn industry has traditionally been early adopters. Online payments were basically invented to sell porn, then other stores used the tech as an after thought.
If we have the sex workers on #nostr getting paid in #bitcoin using #lightning that is incredibly bullish. They will go the place that is best for them, their fans will follow them anywhere. Nostr and bitcoin adoption go vertical if we are nice enough and build a good environment to keep them around.
Best part, they will have a secure home without the threat of censorship, de-platforming, de-banking building a brand in a foundation of freedom.
Experience can be customized via relays and moderated as they deem fit. Interoperable client profile will never lose the following they built.
