To some extent that is true though. But it’s women raising the bar. Women judge each other more than men. Women criticize each other for the smallest flaws. I don’t even notice half the things women do for beauty.

When we go to fancy events, they spend hours doing their makeup or will pay someone hundreds of dollars to put a layer of powder on their face. Then they expect you to look at them like they’re the most beautiful thing on earth. It’s pretty sad actually. This is not how you actually look.

Women are so sexualised by all of society that it’s hard to not be influenced by it when it’s all around. Some women can be harsh/critical about how women look but men can be too. I feel sorry for teenagers consuming social media where they belief they need to look like a filter in real life.
