I can relate to this so much. I truly learned the public transportation system in my city in my late 20s and I really enjoyed it. I did have a few negative experiences but like you said that can happen anywhere. I have to say I do also enjoying having a vehicle because most places in the states are designed to where its needed.

Needless to say, I sold my car. I now have a motorcycle because its more convenient and might I say a bit safer than the public transportation system in the current country I'm living in.
