I did a Psilohuasca ceremonie this weekend and I was asked if I would like to participate in a study regarding this ceremony. The objective of the study is to uncover the underlying brain activity and connectivity change after an acute psychedelic experience. It included one MRI brain scan prior to the ceremony and one after and several questionnaires. I’m really happy these studies are being done to gain wider acceptance. That and I got a cool T-shirt. Also waiting for a visualization of the altered brain function.
