It's worth the offering.

You get premium so no ads across YouTube.

But there's also like YouTube creators who make long form documentary or like content that's like shows.

Then you get all the music, plus the catalogue is the biggest out there by far because users upload like small concerts or things like kexp, tiny desk, audiotree etc.

It's worth it imo if you consume more than an hour a week of YouTube in any shape or form.

I’m just a dork who wants uninterrupted singing bowl music videos w/o ads and other yoga videos. Say what we want about the suck of YouTube, I still find the most content I want to view there. The how-to world of YT is undefeated.

yeah then it's worth it. Just being able to also switch off your phone screen and still play youtube or music or podcasts etc. is great in itself
