well there's a whole community building on ETH so, that's always going to count for something
But ETH tokens are made every minute of the day. So the supply keeps going up. So it doesn't make sense to halt eth.
not really ETH been deflationary for a while now.
For the investor, eth generates yield. You can only generate yield if there are active use cases. But it won't sustain a user base if the fees are high, which means the yield is not sustainable. Bad investment.
Also, eth foundation, and the use cases are regulatory arbitrage, not actual economic value.
