what about the battery drain? is it significant?
nostrdb actually saves battery because it is much smarter about not processing stuff it doesn’t need to
Also, the cpu usage of nostrdb is much more minuscule compared to other things such as videos and animated gifs. It will be the things that *saves* cpu and battery in clients due to cache friendliness of stored data, optimized note ingesting, json processing bailout when you hit an id already in the db, etc.
