Is it centralized? I thought the code is still running. Big mistake for them to put their real names on it and to be physically located in the US (or any country that has an extradition agreement with the US)
I feel like a lot of Bitcoin's potential for mass adoption rides on public perception, and their ability to manipulate the public is second to none. They could very well orchestrate a 'disaster' and find a way to blame Bitcoin for whatever crisis they manufacture.
