You dont generally find adult worms in any meat. Thsts not where they live. What you can find are microscopic larval worms or cysts. Sometimes these can be seen as tiny white flecks in the meat or organs. These cysts do not survive proper cooking. I have been eating deer and other game for over 20 years and never seen worms or cyst in the meat.

I have heard of bear and boar having heavy loads of trichinella cysts. You cant see them, but if the meat is not well cooked you get infected. You then end up with microscopic cysts in your own muscles...
