I'm planning to flash Libreboot with GRUB only on T440p by myself.

Does T440p with Libreboot has major bugs (like sleep issues) or hardware incompatibility in recent stable releases?

I tried Coreboot distro from Skulls a year ago on X230 and I had USB 3.0 issues while using external HDD cases.
