⚡️🎮 GAMING - Rockstar is planning to implement age assurance checks in the near future, rolling them out by region.

You may need to verify your age to access GTA Online, or certain features, like phone messages, text chat, Snapmatic, may be restricted until you verify your age.

If you can’t verify your age by (presumably) uploading your ID or biometric data, you will be blocked from accessing certain features or potentially even Online in its entirety.

The regions that will be affected are currently unknown. It’s safe to assume that the UK will be at the forefront of this given the recently introduced “Online Safety Act.”
