I remember as a kid helping my uncle stuff a belt full of $100 bills to smuggle back into Communist Poland in the 80's. He built a house with all that money and I got to stay there on vacation, a pretty neat experience.
Bitcoin and Lightning is a miracle because there's no need to do this anymore. Anyone, anywhere in the world regardless of political situation.
