Hi! I'm pretty new to nostr and somewhere I saw nostrplebs was one of the earliest providers of NIP-05 so that's where I got it. There was no further reasoning behind it. Should I have gotten it somewhere else?

Oh,I am not sure too much about NIP-05. I got mine on Iris.to I think.

If you like free speech, please join these relays . I run the poster.place one and my frens from mastodon run the others. The Twitter users do not really value free speech here and are block-happy. The admin of your relay blocked me for saying a forbidden word and wanted all his users to block me too lol

Damn, that sucks they did that! >:(

OK, I've added all those relays now, thanks for the advice!

I'm using the command line tool nostr-tool but when I submit to multiple relays none of the posts ever show up, only when I submit to one relay alone, so I though given that relay.damus.io appears to be the most used relay at the moment it would make sense to submit to that one.

Do you think I should submit to a different relay?

I hope one day I'll figure out how to submit to multiple relays simultaneously, I've left a note in the git forum for that CLI app at https://github.com/nbd-wtf/nostr-tools/issues/152

I thought client submit to every relay. That’s how Iris and Damus work. If you only submit to one, your posts are only visible on one

The client submits to all relays that you have configured on your account to submit to ("write"). For example I have configured the relay.damus.io to be read and write and all others to read only because I don't want people to think I'm submitting to more relays than the damus one. I wish I could submit to more relays than one simultaneously on my CLI tool but at the moment it doesn't seem to let me do that, it only allows one at a time which is different from your experience on most web client and apps where you can select "write" access for all your relays if you want to.

OK, I've figured out how to do it, so now our app is submitting to all the relays at once!! :D
