⚡️🇺🇸 NEW - Trump Thanks Iran for “Early Warning,” Calls On Iran and Israel to Move Toward Peace
Donald Trump has issued a series of comments downplaying Iran’s retaliation to the U.S. bombing of its nuclear facilities and presenting the exchange as a controlled and casualty-free event.
“Iran has officially responded… with a very weak response,” Trump writes on Truth Social, claiming that 13 of 14 missiles were intercepted and the last was “set free” due to its non-threatening path.
He emphasized there were no American casualties and “hardly any damage,” thanking Iran for “early notice” and suggesting they had “gotten it all out of their system.”
In a separate post, Trump confirmed there were no casualties in the attack on the U.S. base in Qatar and thanked the Emir for his efforts to maintain peace. “Perhaps Iran can now proceed to Peace and Harmony in the Region,” Trump said, adding: “I would enthusiastically encourage Israel to do the same.”
Axios carried the remarks from Trump stating his thanks to Iran for the early warning and calling on both sides to move forward.
