I’m not convinced that Seedsigner is the best solution for new coiners. For most, bitcoining is a progression and the personal journey one must go through is what makes one realize the value of what they hold and gives them confidence that they’ve secured it to the level that is best of them to manage.

Respect to that👍 I am still a beginner, and my first hardware wallet was SS. It thought me from the begging what is the secret that I should guard. And that sats are not in the wallet, but on Blockchain. The wallet is just is just a coordinator, an interface. Just my experience, never had an issue with SS, as I said I am a beginner and not close to a IT guy🙂

Right on! Yeah for some SeedSigner is a surely a good enough place to start but I have to take it case by case. I also am not yet versed in SeedSigner operation so I can’t suggest it or guide people through it. I wind up being many people’s bitcoin sherpa and I have to balance what I already know from several years in this mind blender with what they’ll be able to digest.

For most people I think a more than adequate progression is something like:

Blockstream Green > Blockstream Jade > Foundation Passport

All of these of strong UI/UX which is also really really important and deeply lacking in this space.
