Anyone remember the Y2K drama? Was it all a ruse to keep folks riled? I get the zero digit problem, but it feels so manufactured now. Mother worked in Mergers and Acquisitions at SouthTrust. It was real for her.
Computers were still new back then, more or less, so I feel the hysteria was a little understandable
