So is that Peyote? Is it similar to San Pedro or Huachuma down in Peru?
Yes, it is a Peyote Cactus. Huachuma is the Peruvian name for Trichocereus, San Pedro is inaccurate IMO. They are both alkaloid rich cactus, and they are both revered by the people who use them as sacrament. But they only have similarities as a sacrament. I consider Huachuma (Trichocereus) the Peyote (Lophpophora) of South America. Do you garden cactus?
Ah OK ð I don't know so much about cactus at all for psychedelic use or gardening. Mainly used Ayahuasca. Although I got hold of some Huachuma in Peru and tried some as micro dose. Was quite good!
I have a bunch of Huachuma hybrid seeds if you are ever interested... I collected seeds for a whole year and had to stop myself. ð
