Can anyone explain why Bitcoin/Crypto is not accepted pretty much anywhere? What is holding up adoption in retail stores?

Well crypto is dogshit, so I answer that straight away.

Retail doesn't like the volatility generally speaking.
Yeah.... they will loose money instantly on each transaction plus fees
They already loose money for txn and fees, I think it’s because taxes are already extra complicated.
Also fiat is how you have to pay your expenses :(
Trying to get my business on the bitcoin standard but it’s tough 😞
For most business owners it's a steep learning curve for a very niche payment method.
I believe bitcoin will become a much bigger SoV first. Then MoE emerges naturally because everyone wants it as a SoV.
Some things are better left unsaid. I recommend no more news like this, for the sake of the people, our industry
