Was reading an interpretation of the book DSM-5: if you have to respond to a people with toxic personality, what is the proper way of not getting yourself hurt? Just respond, DO not react.

Since respond is just talking.

React is emoting, showing emotions.

It's like the suggestion in some SCI-FI novels, when engaging with higher level aliens, do not react 🚫👽

I do this with my boss. Hes got some anger issues. He comes at me super hot headed, voice raised, yelling. But I'm just cool as a cumcumber. It drives him crazy, and he realizes he can say nothing against me because he's the one who lost his cool.

Works every time 💪
