Instead of having your hospital send your prescription to the pharmacy, through multiple companies behind your back, all of which have full access to your medical info, why not just send it in an encrypted but verifiable way to a relay such that when YOU get to the pharmacy to pick up the medicine you can grant access to those individual records to the pharmacist directly?
Sounds crazy, right? But it's NIP-82
Actually prescriptions don't go through an intermediary when sent electronically to pharmacies,in the US at least.
