yeah, whatever happened to the word "deception"?

also, it is literally a mistake to misinform, and "disinform" is also a different thing

misinform means to make a mistake in your information

disinform means to deceive

if i made a mistake, then ok, correct me

if i meant to deceive, let's go to court baby

It's newspeak for "factual but inconvenient to the party."

Disinformation is "factual but dangerous to the party."

Or rather just a story, which has its followers but doesn't have evidence that it is related with reality.

A better word is just "lies".
