Yes it is and thank you! I had a very narrow strip between the pavement and the neighbour's wall with tragic soil. Nothing wanted to grow there, so 3 years ago I planted 10 strawberry seedlings and now I have a lot of strawberries and a covered ugly piece of soil. They grow super fast and like you've said it is easy to control.
