Agree, but it appears they’re going to try this with solar/wind any way. Maintain the consumable nature of oil but “without hydrocarbons”.
if you have heard about this "amazing fuel called green hydrogen" ignore everything that individual says.
hydrogen is untenable without a massive amount of base load energy inputs like nuclear powering electrolysis
