Would only be effective against off the shelf commercial drones.

Emp shielding isn't hard to add to drones.

(Assuming the drones are autonomous and following a set objective rather than being controlled by an operator) This would be useless.

What it would do is fry the pickup truck so it won't start, and destroy everyone's phones.
