kinda glad that black phosphorous semiconductors don't seem to be particularly viable due to the carrier mobility dropping off a cliff when you reduce the thickness, because the last thing we need right now is semiconductor technology supply chains directly competing with agricultural supply chains for key bulk materials.

Do you really believe that it would have a measurable impact? Electronics are printed at the atomic scale and are sold for hundreds of dollars. Any fractional impact they have on acquiring black phosphorous would be paid back easily.
