Grand Valley trailhead is on the way out to hurricane ridge. Check out Murhut falls if you get a chance, that’s a short / easy hike with a great payoff. Then after go get oysters at Hama Hama, it’s close. World class oysters.

We made it up to Hurricane Ridge today. It was beautiful at the base, but was a cloudy snow storm when we got to the lookout. We couldn’t see anything. Got some beautiful shots along the way though. Great recommendation.

If you ever come back I’d recommend July or August. Grand valley and Bogachiel River valley hikes are A1 I would recommend staying out at each for a night to get the full experience
Would love to. We were in Seattle for a wedding and just decided to make a go of it. The fall colors of the trees mixed in with the other coniferous trees is something to behold.
