I think the best thing we can do as bitcoiners over the next 5 years is making sure we are ready to help those who will need our help when CBDC are rolled out. We are going to get a massive wave of people who want to opt in to #bitcoin and we need to have our ducks in a row as far as basic onboarding is concerned. People will be desperate for help, and it will be our responsibility to provide it.

1. In my view, the vast majority of CBDC users will feel right at home being obedient to the state.

2. I predict that any CBDC user who wants an exit into bitcoin will not own any currency that he/she can exchange for bitcoin.

I don’t know man. I just think we need to have our onboarding plan for friends and family down to a T. Like spiel and set up with a non custodial wallet in 15-30 min. As simple as possible.

I've been thinking a lot about this idea lately. And I want to elaborate a bit. So the type of scenario I am thinking of is like a sudden rapid devaluation of the dollar or maybe the mandatory implementation of a CBDC. Basically a situation where the choice really was Bitcoin or slavery and it was so glaringly obvious that a vast amount of Americans would be looking to get off of Zero.

Now I get it that some would choose the slavery option because it was easier, but I would expect that for quite a few, the need to get into #bitcoin would be somewhat urgent in the event of the scenarios described above.

How do we as bitcoiners make sure we are ready for a mass opt out of fiat and opt into Bitcoin scenario? For me I am trying to hone an "elevator" pitch that starts with a basic and simple introduction and ends with the set up of a non-custodial wallet in an hour or less.

As always, interested in thoughts and strategies from my fellow bitcoiners.
