Yes that’s a good way to put it. There’s the potential, I suppose, that once lab grown meet is available, things like natural raised meet will be marginalized. And that is kinda threatening.
Or one could view it as an extension of the processed food industry, which hasn’t been great for health.
It’s like the “I won’t eat the bugs” thing. I’m certain our ancestors ate bugs, they’re very nutritionally dense, and they could even be a way to be sovereign in your food production. But reactionary thinking does not lend itself to nuance.
