they could easily make a downloadable single page mobile app. it's like 1hour of work minus the time it takes to publish on app stores.

I believe #[3]​ has all that in motion plus a bunch more. I listened to him talk about it on a podcast. Very good listen

Progressive webapp. You can save to Homescreen on both iOS & Android now, then launch it just like an app.
