If I were building a new home from scratch, I might forgoe having a dining room and put in a sauna instead.

Yes definitely, me too. A bigger kitchen that we can eat in together, a sauna and a big patio β™₯

Loads of trees and no one nearby - a single storey version of Forrest Gump's house sounds nice

We must be reading the same books. Haha. Yes and yes.

We've had some time to refine what matter I think 😊

That’s the guest house taken care of.

What you building for yourself after the next halving?

I'll have to think about it. I don't want anything too large really but comfortable. You know like somewhere to park my super yacht and my trout fishing dam... 🀣

I’m thinking of buying Australia after the next halving.

I’ll hire somebody to get rid of all those pesky venomous critters of course.

My folks have a formal dining room. We basically only use it only during the Christmas holiday season. Wasted space.

Same with living room but maybe a game room instead. Always thought a pool/billiards table would be cool 😎 πŸ’œ

I bought a house once that came with a billiards table in the family room (basement).

No clue how they got it down there.

But I sold that house 5 years later with said pool table in the same spot.
