Exactly. So, I don’t care if you use a token in the back to handle your private chain. Just ensure that I can use my currency of choice to access your services.
The COTI example…. They have a client/merchant system for micro transactions, their tech is not too shabby. You have shitcoin, I want Beetcoin. You send shitcoin via coti network, I get Beetcoin. COTI token has done stuff in the back, I don’t even need to know. The token is for the investor and the node runners. So, they use the token to govern their game of incentives and ensure that the network does what it needs to do, but the user does not need to know. When people use ADApay BinancePay, LINKPay and more, they are in fact using COTI without knowing it.
So, I am extremely curious about Nostr and need to better understand the potential and the vulnerabilities and weaknesses of LN. How will the incentives sustain the network over decades without forcing the user to become super savy. Nostr needs to become a plug and play experience for most users. Exciting times ahead. BTC only.
