Jason David Frank took his own life three years ago today. He played Tommy Oliver, the most iconic Power Ranger and a childhood hero to countless people, including myself. He had openly discussed suicide and depression, publicly stating that suicide was a cowardly way out while admitting it was a constant battle for himself. Why do you think people resort to suicide? And why does it seem to affect white men more than any other race? Robin Williams, Heath Ledger, Kurt Cobain are a few celebrities that come to mind.

Rest in power 💚

When life becomes all pain and no gain, for years. Nothing is rewarding. It becomes a calculation. The pain and consequences of suicide become small in comparison to the years of internal suffering and hopelessness.
